EETE honors the painter Vasiliki Biniori for the project with an exhibition of her works of, at the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Athens "Melina", 66 Heraklion in Thisio
(Metro Kerameikos), November 2 - 29, 2022. Vasiliki Biniori was born in Kyparissia in 1930 and passed away in 2010 in Athens at the age of 80.
He studied painting freely in Greece and abroad. He was caught mainly with watercolor. She presented her works for the first time in 1961 at the 1st Panhelladiki
Exhibition at the French Institute. Since then she has presented her work to many individual and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.

She presented her painting in a total of 17 individual exhibitions. He took part in 5 Panhellenic exhibitions (G, IX, I, IA, IB). Her works can be found: in the National
Gallery, in the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Education and Culture, in the Municipalities of Athens and Nice, at the National Bank, at the Johannesburg Consulates and
of Paris, as well as in private collections in Greece and abroad.
Criticism of her work has been written by El. Buck, Ah. Mamakis, Al. Drakos, G. Lampsidis, St. Panagiotopoulos, T. Tsirbinos, V. Kountouridis, Dora Rogan
Iliopoulou et al.

In addition to her contribution to the artistic life of the place, Vasiliki Biniori he was interested in the living conditions of the artists and showed more general
social sensitivity, expressed in the way that after her death disposed of her assets. In this context, he bequeathed to E.E.T.E. one
seaside building located in Porto Rafti and which according to her desire is used to host artists and the realization of artistic events. He also bequeathed to the municipality

Athenaion a multi-storey apartment building in Neo Kosmos, used as Social Apartment Building for the accommodation of our fellow homeless people, as well as
she donated many of her works to the Municipality of her hometown, Kyparissia.
This report coincides with the opening of the EETE building, according to with the wish of the painter Vasiliki Binioris, which is now named of: "Biniori Building".
