Puppet Theater Festival

 

The inspirer and main organizer of the Kalamata Puppet Theater Festival is the EXPERIMENTAL STAGE OF KALAMATA, an active cultural institution of our city, which deals mainly with theatrical creation of young people, puppetry and creative employment of children. The occasion was the idea of ​​an International Puppet Theater Festival in the proposal of Kalamata for European Capital of Culture ‘21. The proposal did not succeed, but the idea remained alive from 2014 to 2017, when the 1st Panhellenic Puppet Theater Festival of Kalamata took place. Let's take the things from the beginning...

Εμπνευστής και κύριος διοργανωτής του Φεστιβάλ Κουκλοθέατρου Καλαμάτας είναι η ΠΕΙΡΑΜΑΤΙΚΗ ΣΚΗΝΗ ΚΑΛΑΜΑΤΑΣ, ένας δραστήριος πολιτιστικός φορέας της πόλης μας, ο οποίος ασχολείται κυρίως με τη θεατρική δημιουργία των νέων, το κουκλοθέατρο και τη δημιουργική απασχόληση των παιδιών. Αφορμή στάθηκε η ιδέα ενός Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Κουκλοθέατρου στην πρόταση της Καλαμάτας για Πολιτιστική Πρωτεύουσα της Ευρώπης ‘21. Η πρόταση δεν ευοδώθηκε, η ιδέα όμως παρέμεινε ζωντανή από το 2014 έως το 2017, όταν πραγματοποιήθηκε το 1ο Πανελλήνιο Φεστιβάλ Κουκλοθέατρου Καλαμάτας. Ας πάρουμε όμως τα πράγματα από την αρχή...
